Worship Planning

A very cool group of people from all directions is coming together at Wesley House tomorrow for lunch and worship planning. Our first new worship service is Sunday, September 26, at 6pm and includes a FREE dinner. (For those of you who aren't aware, Methodists can never meet without food. It's a rule.)
Attending the meeting will be Derek Horton, a UC senior and current Wesley House intern; Ben Simmons, a current student who just returned from doing social justice work in a South American orphanage; Abby Wilson, an actress and Wesley House alum; Matt Holt, a musician and Wesley House alum; Ken Schoon, who'll be Skyping in from Michigan, a former Wesley House intern who is now an alum; Amy Britton, who does social justice work at Wesley Chapel, is a former intern, and is now a Wesley House alum; Nancy Turner, a Deacon on the Ohio River Valley District of the UMC who has a ministry called Art & Soul; and last but not least, Ryan Chewning, a current student, computer geek extraordinaire, and barista.
Sounds like some creative things will happen! And incoming students, isn't it nice to know that all of these (as I mentioned, very cool) people already care about you and about welcoming you into our community? We can't wait!
